1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the website, making a reservation, or entering the venue, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access the website or enter the venue.

These Terms and Conditions are effective as of 23 September 2026 and supersede all prior versions. We may update these terms from time to time; the latest version will always be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the venue or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Eligibility and Age Restriction

Valid government-issued photo identification is required for entry and may be checked at any time. Minors are not permitted on the premises under any circumstances, including in the restaurant and bar areas.

Identification and Verification

We reserve the right to verify your age and identity at any time. Failure to provide acceptable identification will result in denial of entry or removal from the venue.

• Acceptable identification includes a valid passport, Australian driver's licence, or state-issued photo ID.
• Digital copies of identification are not accepted.

3. Venue Access and Conduct

General Conduct

All patrons are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner befitting a premium poker club. Disruptive, abusive, or threatening behavior will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any patron who violates these conduct rules. Patrons must follow all instructions from venue staff and security personnel.

Dress Code

A smart casual dress code is enforced throughout the venue. Patrons wearing offensive, overly casual, or inappropriate attire may be denied entry.

• Examples of prohibited attire include thongs, singlets, and clothing with offensive language or imagery.
• Management's decision on dress code compliance is final.

Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited on the premises: weapons of any kind, illegal substances, outside food and beverages, and any device that may compromise the integrity of poker games.

• Electronic devices such as phones and smartwatches may be restricted in certain areas to maintain the integrity of face-to-face poker.
• Bags may be subject to inspection upon entry.

4. Poker Play and Tournament Rules

House Rules

All poker games at Pokercanyon Magneticisland are conducted in accordance with our house rules, which are designed to ensure fair play and an exceptional experience for serious poker players. House rules cover game selection, betting procedures, table etiquette, and dispute resolution.

The house rules are available for review at the concierge desk and may be updated from time to time. Decisions of the floor manager are final in all disputes.

Tournament Rules

Participation in poker tournaments is subject to specific tournament rules, including entry fees, starting chip counts, blind structures, and payout schedules.

• Tournament schedules and structures are posted in advance and may be subject to change.
• Late registration and re-entry policies vary by tournament and will be clearly communicated.
• All tournament participants must be 21+ and comply with venue conduct rules.

Fair Play and Integrity

5. Reservations, Cancellations, and Payments

Reservations

Reservations for real poker tables, private poker room hire, and dining can be made through our concierge. All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by our staff.

A valid credit card may be required to secure certain reservations. For private poker events, a deposit may be required at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for standard reservations. Private events and tournament entries may have different cancellation terms as specified at the time of booking.

• Failure to cancel within the required notice period may result in a cancellation fee.
• No-shows may be charged the full reservation fee.

Payments

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.

• Payment for poker table reservations and tournament entries is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
• For dining, payment is due at the conclusion of your meal.

6. Dining and Alcohol Service

Dining

Our restaurant and bar offer a luxury dining experience complementing the premium poker environment. Dining reservations are recommended and subject to the same reservation terms as poker tables.

• Menu items and availability may change without notice.
• Please inform our staff of any dietary requirements or allergies when making a reservation.

Responsible Service of Alcohol

Alcohol service hours are in accordance with our venue operating hours and applicable laws. Patrons may be asked to leave if they become intoxicated or disruptive.

7. Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pokercanyon Magneticisland shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the venue or participation in poker games.

This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, loss of data, or personal injury, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Ownership of Content

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Pokercanyon Magneticisland or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.

• The Pokercanyon Magneticisland name and logo are trademarks and may not be used without permission.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Dispute Resolution

We encourage you to contact our concierge to resolve any disputes informally before pursuing formal legal action. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Sydney, New South Wales, in accordance with the applicable arbitration rules.
